DESCRIPTION Bulls Copperhead EVO AM 1 27,5+ 27,5+

The Bulls Copperhead EVO AM 1 27.5+ electric bike offers sporty mobility for those who want to get to the top and those who love the pleasure of riding, enabling recreational challenges with a competitive spirit. Within the extensive Bulls brand collection, it is part of the Copperhead group, the most popular model for its incredible value, with full suspension and ready to tackle medium-complex cross-country routes. It's just as useful for frequent rides on country trails as it is for the slightly more aggressive wilderness weekend rides.

For overcoming roots, rocks and the many obstacles we encounter on the trail, the Copperhead EVO AM 1 27.5+ features full suspension with components from Suntour. The BULLS Lytro 34 Air Boost RLR DS suspension, with its incredible 140 millimeters of travel, will impress our fellow MTB riders with its quality and workmanship, thanks to its strong forged aluminum crown and a traction package with a highly sensitive spring.  It has a valve for recharging with pressurized air, quickly and easily filling both chambers simultaneously (positive and negative), even adjusting its operation to our body weight and personal preferences. Provided with easily accessible pins to adjust the rebound according to the real road conditions and to lock the fork when it is not necessary. However, if we lock the suspension and the terrain catches us unawares, the fork unlocks automatically and absorbs the shock immediately if it is strong enough.

The trial and enduro oriented rear shock is fixed to the frame using  a system called SR Suntour Unair TR LO-R8-Z11 Air Shock which dispenses with the classic top mount to the frame based on an eyelet and pin and fitted with sealed bearings at the anchor point.  Benefits offered by this revolutionary technology are smoother and more responsive operation, superior stiffness thanks to more plungers inside the shock body, and the guarantee of better traction by keeping the rear wheel permanently in contact with the ground. It has similar settings to the front suspension, allowing it to be adjusted according to personal preference and terrain characteristics.

While others give up, the climb becomes a special joy with this Bulls electric mountain bike, which is also true for the descent that follows. The traction achieved with the rear suspension means that the drive converts the 250 watts of power from the Bosch Performance Line CX electric system into a guaranteed drive with its fantastic 85 Newton meters of torque. The central motor plays an essential role not only for the thrust force it generates, but also for its position on the bike which keeps the point of gravity of the mass centrally located, as close to the body as possible, especially in off-road use, increasing control and stability while riding. Four assistance modes offer excellent and rational control over engine operation, and three sensors (torque, speed and crank rotation), with an update rate of 1000 measurements per second, make the assistance reactive and smooth at the same time.

The motor has the necessary range, guaranteed by a powerful battery with a capacity of 625 watt hours, which guarantees an independent range of 150-180 kilometers on flat and favorable terrain. It can be fully charged in about three and a half hours and reach 50 % of its potential charge in just one and a half hours. An efficient Battery Management System (BMS) protects the battery against various possible malfunctions and prevents deterioration when left unused for a prolonged period.

Controlling all this technology installed on one of Bulls' most sought-after electric mountain bikes is the Purion on-board computer, with two main functions: to allow the rider to control the parameters of the electrical system, and to display system information including distance, time and speed. A separate unit located on the handlebars allows us to fully access the computer and operate the functions remotely, keeping our hands on the handlebars to ensure safe riding. We will also have access to all applications from the LCD screen itself, even when removed from the bike, allowing us to recall the itinerary while resting afterward.

If we add to the modes available on the BULLS Copperhead for adjusting assistance the 10 speeds offered by the Shimano gear system, of the Deore M5120 type, then no slope or difficulty on the route will be difficult to tackle with a stable pedaling rhythm. The system, due to its great versatility and performance, is designed for Cross Country, All Mountain or even Enduro. It features Shadow Plus drivetrain technology, which provides a dynamic transfer of pedaling power and prevents ghost shifting. The oscillating long-arm rear derailleur and a tightly wound spring for synchronized shifting provide smooth, fluid, and fast gear changes and prevent "ghost" shifting.

To ride well on any terrain (even on the road it rolls effortlessly), we have at our disposal Veetire Crown Gem tires, 29 x 2.6 at the front and 27.5" x 2.6 at the rear. Their bulky cross-section, within the 650B size category, packs an extra amount of air pressure compared to traditional 27.5" tires of the same width, which will make them stand out from our mountain bike companions when discussing grip and comfort during the ride.

Neither hard braking nor speed control on long descents will be a cause for concern onboard the Aminga E FS2. Shimano MT200 two-piston Magura hydraulic brakes with 180-millimetre discs on both wheels offer more than enough power. They guarantee optimum sensitivity and braking power and at the same time counteract the classic "over-braking". No matter how difficult the terrain, the new, ergonomic levers develop a perfect braking performance that will make you feel confident, while having fun controlling the Bulls Copperhead EVO AM 1 27.5+ at your fingertips.
