Eureka Electric Tricycle
The Eureka electric tricycle for adults is an excellent choice for those who wish to move with maximum freedom, making the most of their journeys while avoiding unnecessary effort.
Its curved, reinforced open-frame design and low step-through height make getting on and off the tricycle very easy and accessible. The 64-centimeter width between its rear wheels allows it to maneuver in tight spaces, fit through most doorways, or navigate narrow, hard-to-pass routes.
This tricycle concept can be highly useful for companies or individuals who need to make frequent short trips with cargo, as its sturdy frame supports a total of 150 kg, considering the trike itself, the rider, and the load in both baskets. Many factories already use our tricycles to move quickly and safely around their warehouses; when circulating on private roads within their premises, they can take advantage of the 500 W motor for extra thrust, allowing them to move heavy loads with greater ease and less effort.
Riding with cargo will never again be a strain beyond your capabilities: the Bafang front brushless motor, with a nominal power of 250 watts, a maximum power of 612 watts, and a torque of 40 newton-metres, provides the extra push needed to make every ride enjoyable, tailored to each rider's physical condition. If you need more power to tackle steep inclines, the 500 W option gives you the freedom to move with minimal effort, while a higher-amperage battery provides greater range. Please note that the 500 W motor is not suitable for public roads, as current legislation in most European Union countries limits motor power to 250 W, maximum speed to 25 km/h, and activation to pedal-assist only, in order to ride legally and safely on any public thoroughfare.
The best feature of the Eureka electric trike is its tilting system, easily controlled via the release button on the handlebar. With this system, the user has an agile and manoeuvrable tricycle that leans into corners, just like a bicycle, but without losing balance — the main advantage of any tricycle, since all three wheels remain firmly on the ground. Thanks to this, corners are no longer tricky as they are on other trikes, whether you find it hard to stay upright on a rigid one when turning or you want to take bends faster, because the tilting system lets you shift your weight to better suit the trike's handling and road conditions — a feature that few, if any, electric cargo or transport tricycles on the market possess.
By selecting from the five assistance regulation levels and the gear changes offered by the internal Shimano Nexus 3- or 8-speed hub gearing, the rider can pedal efficiently according to the route conditions and their personal style. At the same time, the Samsung Li-ion cells fitted in our batteries deliver the necessary power to reach up to 25 kilometres per hour, while ensuring excellent range of 40–55 kilometres with the most basic 10.4 amp-hour option, varying according to the route and the use of assistance: the more effort you put in and the flatter the terrain, the greater the range; conversely, with less effort and/or steeper inclines, consumption increases and range decreases.
The smart charger completes a full charge quickly in about 5 hours for the smaller batteries, with charging time increasing proportionally with battery capacity. The calculation is as simple as dividing the battery's amp-hours by the charger's amp output; for example, if the charger is 2 amps/hour and the battery is 10.4 amp-hours: 10.4/2 = 5.2 hours, if the battery were completely drained.
The digital display, positioned on the handlebar and easily accessible next to the left grip, features a clear, intuitive LCD screen that provides essential trip data such as current speed, partial and total kilometres travelled, etc. It also allows you to modify certain configuration parameters, such as limiting or delimitíng the maximum speed, wheel size, or the number of assistance levels (3, 5, 7, or 9). It also controls other functions, like turning the lights on and off (by holding down the + button) and activating the walking mode, which makes the motor push the tricycle at 6 km/h (walking speed). This allows you to walk alongside the tricycle without having to push it yourself — very useful for moving through pedestrian areas or easily going up a garage ramp, for example, where the steep incline often makes pedalling up difficult.
The combination of Tektro V-Brake front brakes and Shimano drum rear brakes ensures manoeuvrability and control for this small, energetic workhorse. Meanwhile, grip in corners and the transmission of thrust while riding are handled by its robust 20-inch diameter wheels, fitted with tough, flexible Kenda tyres up to 2.125 inches wide. Users can choose different types in the configuration (road, hybrid, or with a white sidewall band), giving it a distinctive design touch.
Lastly, two features stand out on this tricycle. On the one hand, despite its compact dimensions, the adjustable saddle and handlebar heights allow riding for both shorter adults and medium-height individuals, with the option of an upright riding posture for greater comfort and better pedalling position. Similarly, its two baskets — charmingly styled at the front and much larger and sturdier at the rear — are positioned to provide stability while riding.
In short, it is an agile and robust tricycle that will make everyday journeys, from grocery shopping to longer outings, easier — whether you're cycling along a bike lane or a rural trail, loaded with everything you need for a pleasant day in the countryside.
