Dune 4.0 Folding Electric Tricycle

A world of possibilities opens up before us thanks to the Dune 4.0 folding electric tricycle, a machine designed to let nothing stop you. The fabulous fatbike tricycle design, developed to enjoy every ride without worrying about the terrain or stability, is combined with a 6061 aluminium frame with a folding system that eliminates the size limitation typically associated with adult tricycles.

Quick and secure folding

The Dune folds in seconds. It features an intelligent safety mechanism that makes it absolutely impossible for it to open while riding. Simply opening the easy-release lever is not enough to release the system: once opened, you need to apply upward pressure on the lever to release the locking pin that secures the entire assembly. This pressure cannot be applied while pedalling, so confidence in the folding system is maximum when riding, while the ease of folding and unfolding the tricycle is equally maximum: requiring very little effort and just a few seconds.

Ride over any terrain

Pedalling over any type of terrain will never be an obstacle. Slippery snow, thick mud or fine sand will not be able to stop our momentum when we get on an unstoppable beast like the Dune 4.0 Trike. Its 20" x 4.0" fatbike tyres (also available in the 3.0" version with the Dune 3.0 model) contribute significantly to grip and stability, regardless of the environment.

Differential: total control in corners

On the rear axle you will find the differential, a key component for maintaining total control of the tricycle in corners and challenging situations. It allows each rear wheel to rotate independently, even in opposite directions, making it possible to change direction by pivoting on one of the rear wheels or even turn on the spot. This is a great advantage over other conventional tricycles, which, lacking a differential, require a large turning radius to manoeuvre.

Exceptional front suspension

To ensure a total riding experience, we have selected an incredible RST GUIDE front suspension with 24" and 80 mm of travel, something unusual in a conventional electric tricycle. But the Dune 4.0 is exceptional: the control and feel that this type of suspension puts at your disposal are truly remarkable.

Made in León, with cargo option

Manufactured entirely in León and tailored to your needs, the Dune 4.0 is not only an ideal vehicle for your daily commutes, but it can also carry loads of up to 150 kg (including the weight of the tricycle and the rider). To this end, it features a robust rear basket which includes a zippered bag, so you can carry everything you need safely and securely. Additionally, a front basket can be added on request to increase cargo capacity.

High-performance electrical system

The proven electrical system is powered by a battery with high-performance lithium cells. We offer batteries with up to 30 Ah capacity (1110 Wh) so you can take on the most ambitious tasks without fear of running out of power halfway through.

The powerful Bafang front motor (250 W, 48 V), with 45 Nm of torque, provides the necessary thrust at all times, thanks to the control you have over the entire system via the digital display located in the centre of the handlebar. It is also available in its more powerful 500 W and 80 Nm torque version, although in this case its use is restricted to private roads, as it cannot be used as a pedal-assist vehicle on public roads because it exceeds the 250 W limit permitted by law.

Quality braking and gearing

An adult tricycle of these dimensions, with so much power and unrestricted use, must be able to stop without excessive effort. To achieve this, the mighty Tektro E350 hydraulic brakes provide the feel and stopping power required to tame the untamed spirit of the Dune 4.0.

The reliable and proven Shimano Nexus 8-speed internal gear system is located between the rear axle and the chainring, driving directly against the differential to get the most out of it.

Lighting and intuitive display

The front and rear lights are controlled via the Bafang DP C10 display, located in the centre of the handlebar. This is an easy-to-use, intuitive and fully-featured on-board computer from which you can control all the parameters of the electrical system and consult all the data from your routes. Thanks to its five assistance levels, you will always find the best configuration to make the motor behave as you wish. Functions such as limiting the maximum speed and other extras are easily accessible and customisable from the display's configuration menu.
