As with the entire Sonic Enduro range, the heart of the Bulls Sonic Enduro is its Shimano EP8 motor. Despite its small physical dimensions, with its 85 Newton meters, it is one of the torquiest motors available on the Enduro market today. This unit is also used in the e-bikes of more than a dozen experienced e-bike manufacturers. The motor can operate at various levels of assistance delivery, chosen according to the needs of the route. Where others design with price as a benchmark, this drive unit has been engineered to meet the most rigorous standards. By using complex gearing they have achieved more compact dimensions and lighter weight, quieter operation, and less friction and wear.

In addition, the electrical system is powered by compact and very powerful 750 Watt-hour battery, also one of the most powerful on the market today, with a charging time of 3.4 hours to reach 80 % capacity and 5 hours for a full charge.

Shimano has new software that provides more torque at low speed as well as smoother power delivery (without jerking) at any of the available speeds in the available range.To control this powerful assistance, the popular firm applies a sensor concept that is one of the most successful on the market: it makes hundreds of measurements per second of the force we apply to the pedal, comparing three parameters: torque, pedaling cadence and speed.

A 65-degree camber angle helps with forwarding movement and ensures a reliable ride, with no intermittent ground-holding during bounces caused by hard potholes, especially on descents. RockShox Super Deluxe Select+ RL rear suspension with 150mm of travel completes the suspension of this electric Enduro beast.

The quality of the brakes and the gear shifting system of this missile are the responsibility of the prestigious Japanese firm Shimano. Shimano XT RD-M8100 with 12 speeds are at our disposal to face the climbs and any type of terrain we may face in an efficiently. The hydraulic brakes, Shimano Deore BR-M6120 with 203 mm discs on both wheels, provide enough power to bring the bike to a complete stop safely, as well as a good feeling and excellent speed regulation with light braking, whether on impossible descents or maximum speed sections.

To guarantee grip on all types of terrain and protect against punctures, Bulls has chosen tires from the reputable German company Schwalbe, the Schwalbe Magic Mary and Big Betty, 62-622. With proven durability in a multitude of conditions, great grip and extraordinarily lightweight, these tires will take you to any backcountry no matter how difficult the access. The 29-inch diameter of the tread, while slightly raising the center of gravity and requiring more effort to move the wheel at the most extreme moments of the ride, will also make the irregularities of the trail more bearable and make it easier to get the most out of every pedal stroke, where the 29-inch excels like no other.

The Limotec Alpha 1 Light hydraulic seatpost and Prologo Proxim 450 Sport seat provide maximum comfort and performance on the road.
