Bafang M500 mid-drive motor: 250 W and 95 Nm

One of the highlights of the Stamina M500 is its Bafang M500 mid-drive motor with 250 W and 95 Nm of torque. Its system detects the force applied by the rider to the pedals and continuously adapts the electrical assistance to the intensity of the pedalling.

When we pedal gently, the motor provides reduced assistance; when we increase our effort, for example to increase our riding speed or tackle a steep climb, the system responds by increasing its assistance accordingly. The result is natural, progressive and intuitive assistance, with rider and motor working together.

This type of operation is particularly interesting on a mountain bike, where controlling power delivery according to the terrain provides a much more active and precise riding experience.

A motor that takes advantage of the bike's gearing

One of the major advantages of a mid-drive motor on an MTB is that its power is transmitted to the rear wheel through the bike's own drivetrain. This allows the motor to take advantage of the different gear ratios in exactly the same way as the rider does when pedalling.

By selecting the larger sprockets, we obtain a more favourable ratio for tackling steep climbs and situations where greater pushing force is required, while the smaller sprockets allow us to develop greater riding speed when terrain conditions permit.

The combination of this mechanical advantage and effort-sensitive assistance makes the Bafang M500 particularly well suited to MTB use: both our pedalling and the motor's operation can be adapted to the requirements of each section of the route.

10-speed Shimano Deore

To take full advantage of the mid-drive motor, the Stamina M500 features a 10-speed Shimano Deore drivetrain, particularly well suited to mountain biking thanks to its precision, reliability and wide range of use.

Its different gear ratios make it easy to select the appropriate gearing for each situation, from tackling steep climbs to riding at higher speeds on tracks and favourable terrain, while simultaneously taking advantage of the power provided by the mid-drive motor.

Mullet configuration: 29" front and 27.5" rear

The Stamina M500 uses a mixed wheel-size configuration, combining a 29 × 2.35" front tyre with a 27.5 × 2.8" rear tyre.

The 29-inch front wheel helps the bike roll over obstacles while providing stability and steering precision, qualities that become particularly important when riding over uneven terrain. At the rear, the smaller 27.5-inch diameter combined with the wider 2.8-inch tyre helps provide excellent traction and agile, manageable handling.

The result is a configuration designed to take advantage of both wheel sizes: obstacle-clearing capability and stability at the front, combined with traction and manoeuvrability at the rear.

Full suspension with 150 mm of travel

To maintain control when the terrain becomes more demanding, the Stamina M500 features a complete full-suspension system with 150 mm of travel.

At the front, it features an SR Suntour Durolux Boost with 36 mm stanchions and 150 mm of travel, while the rear is equipped with an SR Suntour Raidon 150 mm shock. This combination helps absorb terrain irregularities, maintain better wheel contact with the ground and improve both control and comfort on demanding routes.

36 V batteries adapted to different types of riding

The Stamina M500 uses a 36 V electrical system and can be configured with different battery capacities depending on each rider's range requirements. We usually work with options ranging from 10 Ah to 25 Ah, allowing you to choose from more compact configurations through to high-capacity batteries for longer rides.

We currently offer 12.8 Ah (460.8 Wh), 15 Ah (540 Wh) and 25 Ah (900 Wh) options. Available capacities may vary depending on stock at any given time.

This choice makes it possible to better adapt the bike to its actual intended use, rather than establishing a fixed range figure, as the achievable distance depends on numerous factors such as the assistance level used, rider weight, elevation profile, type of terrain, temperature and the intensity with which we pedal.

Bafang DP C10 display with 5 assistance levels

The electrical system is controlled through the Bafang DP C10 display, positioned where it can be easily seen on the handlebar. It features 5 assistance levels, allowing the motor response to be adapted to the terrain and to the amount of effort we want to make at each stage of the ride.

It also includes Walking Mode, a practical function that allows the bike to move forward at low speed while we walk alongside it. This is particularly useful when climbing a ramp on foot or moving the bike through a difficult area without riding it.

Tektro E500 hydraulic brakes

An e-MTB with the performance of the Stamina M500 needs a braking system capable of providing control and confidence in demanding situations. The Tektro E500 hydraulic brakes deliver powerful, progressive and easily modulated braking, allowing precise control of the bike both on descents and when facing unexpected changes in terrain.

Lighting to extend its versatility

The Stamina M500 features a front LED light connected directly to the bike's electrical system. The rear light operates independently and, depending on availability, is supplied with either solar charging or USB recharging.

Therefore, although its character is clearly MTB-oriented, it also provides lighting for everyday journeys or routes where increased visibility is required.

Once prepared, you can collect it directly from our facilities or request delivery. To ensure adequate protection during transport, the bike is specifically prepared for packaging, making only the adjustments required to fit it safely into its box and facilitate subsequent setup.
