The Stamina is a full-suspension electric mountain bike designed for riders looking to combine Off Road capability, comfort and powerful electric assistance that is easy to take advantage of. It shares much of its concept and chassis configuration with the Stamina M500, but replaces the mid-drive motor with a Bafang motor located in the rear wheel, resulting in a different riding experience that can be particularly interesting for riders who want a high level of assistance without having to apply a great deal of force to the pedals.

Its 6061 aluminium frame, Mullet configuration with a 29" front wheel and 27.5" rear wheel, full suspension and mountain-oriented geometry provide a solid platform for enjoying tracks and trails as well as tackling more demanding terrain.

Km 0 units at a special price

The Stamina units currently available are offered as Km 0 due to minor, exclusively cosmetic imperfections, mainly caused during showroom display, storage, handling or transport. These small details do not affect the operation or performance of the bike and allow us to offer these units at a particularly attractive price.

Bafang rear motor: simple and effective assistance

The Stamina uses a Bafang motor integrated into the rear wheel, available in 250 W and 500 W versions. Unlike a mid-drive motor with a torque sensor, this system uses a cadence sensor to detect when we are pedalling and activate the assistance corresponding to the selected level.

This means that it is not necessary to apply a great deal of pressure to the pedals to obtain a high level of assistance. As long as we keep pedalling, we can select the assistance level that best suits the terrain and allow the electrical system to take on a significant part of the effort.

This behaviour is particularly interesting for riders looking for an electric mountain bike with a more relaxed riding style that is less dependent on the force applied to the pedals, making it possible to tackle climbs or cover longer distances while maintaining a more moderate level of effort.

Rear motor or mid-drive motor?

The two Stamina versions share a similar bicycle concept, but offer different riding sensations. On the Stamina M500, the mid-drive motor detects the force applied by the rider and adapts its response to that intensity, while also taking direct advantage of the bicycle's gear ratios.

On this version, the rear motor acts directly on the wheel and its assistance does not depend on the gear selected. The drivetrain still allows us to adapt our own pedalling to the terrain, while the motor provides the assistance determined by the selected level.

It is not necessarily a question of one system being better than the other, but rather of choosing the behaviour that best suits each rider. Those looking for a sportier feel and assistance closely linked to their own effort may prefer a mid-drive motor; those looking for direct assistance that is easy to manage and capable of providing substantial support while maintaining relaxed pedalling will find the rear motor a particularly interesting alternative.

250 W and 500 W versions

The Stamina is available with a 250 W or 500 W Bafang motor, allowing the configuration to be adapted to the intended use of the bike.

The 250 W version is the configuration intended to maintain the characteristics of a pedal-assisted electric bicycle, provided that the limits and requirements established by the applicable regulations are respected.

The 500 W configuration is intended for riders looking for higher performance on terrain and in areas where its use is permitted. This version does not meet the requirements of an EPAC for use as a conventional bicycle on public roads, so it must be used in accordance with the regulations applicable in each location.

Mullet configuration: 29" front and 27.5" rear

The Stamina combines a 29 × 2.35" front tyre with a 27.5 × 2.8" rear tyre, a Mullet configuration designed to take advantage of two different wheel diameters.

The 29-inch front wheel makes it easier to roll over obstacles while providing stability and precise steering. At the rear, the 27.5-inch wheel combined with the wider 2.8" tyre helps improve traction and manoeuvrability when the terrain becomes more uneven.

The result is a particularly interesting combination for mountain riding: obstacle clearance and stability at the front, together with traction and agility at the rear.

Full suspension for greater control

The Stamina features an SR Suntour Durolux Boost fork with 36 mm stanchions and 150 mm of travel at the front and an SR Suntour Raidon rear suspension unit.

The full-suspension system as a whole helps absorb irregularities in the terrain, maintain wheel contact with the ground and increase both control and comfort when leaving smoother surfaces behind.

For riders looking for a higher-spec configuration, we can assess the installation of RockShox suspension components. It is also possible to consider fitting a dropper seatpost, particularly useful for making it easier to change riding position during descents and technical sections. 8-speed Shimano Acera

The 8-speed Shimano Acera drivetrain, with an 11-34 tooth rear range, allows us to adapt our own pedalling to the characteristics of the terrain.

The lower gears make it easier to maintain a comfortable cadence on climbs, while the higher gears are better suited to faster sections and favourable surfaces. As the motor is located directly in the rear wheel, its operation is independent of the selected gear, while the drivetrain allows the rider to manage their own effort.

Tektro E350 hydraulic brakes

To maintain control both on trails and during descents, the Stamina is equipped with Tektro E350 hydraulic brakes with discs on both wheels.

The hydraulic system provides powerful, progressive and easily modulated braking, helping to maintain control of an e-MTB that, thanks to its power, tyres and suspension capabilities, is designed to perform across a wide variety of terrain.

36 V batteries to adapt the range

The Stamina uses a 36 V electrical system with an integrated, removable battery located in the frame's down tube. This position helps keep the weight low and centred on the bike, contributing to more balanced handling.

We generally work with capacities ranging from 10 Ah to 25 Ah. Batteries of 12.8 Ah (460.8 Wh), 15 Ah (540 Wh) and 25 Ah (900 Wh) are currently available, although the capacities offered may vary depending on availability.

Being able to choose between different capacities makes it easier to adapt the bike to the type of routes we ride. Real-world range cannot be reduced to a single figure, as it depends on the assistance level, motor power, rider weight, elevation gain, terrain, temperature and the rider's own pedalling contribution.

Bafang DP C18 display on the 250 W version

The 250 W Stamina is equipped with the Bafang DP C18 display, which allows us to view the main riding information and manage the functions of the electrical system.

The display allows the assistance levels to be selected and provides access to different configuration parameters. These include adjustment of the system's speed limit. Any modification of the original parameters that may alter the legal classification of the bicycle must be carried out under the user's responsibility and in accordance with the legislation applicable in the place of use.

It also features Walking Mode, which allows the bicycle to move forward at speeds of up to approximately 6 km/h while we walk alongside it, a particularly useful feature when moving an e-MTB of this type up ramps or through difficult areas.

Intelligent display on the 500 W version

The 500 W motor configuration uses an Intelligent display, a comprehensive system that allows the assistance to be configured with 3, 5 or 9 levels. This means we can choose between fewer levels with more noticeable differences between them or a more progressive adjustment with a greater number of intermediate steps.

This version can be equipped with a throttle for applications where its use is permitted. The use of a throttle capable of propelling the bicycle without pedalling, as well as the 500 W configuration, does not meet the legal characteristics of an EPAC for use as a conventional bicycle on public roads. Its use must always comply with the applicable legislation.

Lighting for greater versatility

The Stamina is equipped with an LED front light connected directly to the bicycle's electrical system. The rear light operates independently and, depending on availability, may be supplied with solar charging or USB charging.

In addition, for riders who also want to use the Stamina for everyday journeys or routes where carrying luggage and protection from splashes are useful, optional racks and mudguards can be fitted.

The Stamina is assembled and inspected at our facilities in León by professionals specialising in electric bicycles. Before delivery, we check the operation of the electrical system, drivetrain, brakes, suspension and other components to ensure the bicycle is properly prepared.

You can collect it directly from our facilities or request delivery. To protect it during transport, the bicycle is specifically prepared for packaging, with only the necessary adjustments made to secure it inside the box and make its subsequent setup as straightforward as possible.

Warranty, experience and after-sales service

The electrical and mechanical components are covered by a three-year warranty, while the frame is covered for five years. Our after-sales service also remains available after delivery to answer questions, diagnose possible issues and supply the necessary components or spare parts.

Who is the rear-motor Stamina for?

The rear-motor Stamina is designed for riders who want to enjoy an electric mountain bike capable of handling varied terrain but prefer assistance that is less dependent on the amount of force they apply to the pedals.

Its cadence sensor allows the rider to receive the assistance corresponding to the selected level simply by continuing to pedal, while the Bafang motor acts directly on the rear wheel.
