Elcamino Electric Bike: Scrambler spirit in electric form
The Elcamino brings the spirit of the legendary Scramblers into the world of electric bikes. A concept created for riders who do not want to limit their journeys to asphalt and are looking for a bike with personality, comfort and the ability to adapt to very different environments.
The term Scrambler has historically been associated with classic-style vehicles modified to tackle different types of terrain. That philosophy is clearly present in the Elcamino: Fat tyres, long-travel suspension, a relaxed riding position and an electrical system designed to provide substantial assistance when the terrain becomes more demanding.
The result is an electric bike with an unmistakable appearance, capable of combining urban journeys, tracks, trails and leisure rides without losing the character that defines this type of model.
Scrambler design and a relaxed riding position
The geometry of the Elcamino is designed to provide a comfortable and relatively upright riding position. The back remains relaxed and the arms rest naturally on the handlebars, helping to maintain comfort both on everyday journeys and during longer rides.
Its aluminium frame, the design of the tank housing the battery, the large front headlight and the Fat wheels create an aesthetic directly inspired by classic Scramblers, but adapted to the possibilities of a modern electric bike.
250 W or 500 W Bafang rear motor
The Elcamino is equipped with a Bafang motor integrated into the rear wheel, available in 250 W and 500 W versions. The rear-mounted motor transfers its assistance directly to the rear wheel and provides particularly useful support when tackling climbs, setting off or riding over more demanding terrain.
The 250 W configuration, with 45 Nm of torque, is intended to retain the characteristics of an electrically assisted bicycle, provided that the limits and requirements established by the applicable regulations are respected.
The 500 W version, with up to 80 Nm of torque, provides considerably greater assistance and is particularly intended for use on private premises, private estates, private land or other areas where road traffic legislation applicable to public roads does not apply. This 500 W configuration does not meet the requirements of an EPAC for use as a conventional bicycle on public roads and must therefore be used in accordance with the applicable regulations.
Battery integrated into the vintage-style tank
One of the most distinctive features of the Elcamino is the integration of the battery inside its vintage-style tank. This turns an essential part of the electrical system into one of the bike's most recognisable visual features.
The Elcamino is available with different battery capacities and 36 V and 48 V electrical configurations, allowing the bike to be adapted to the type of use, power and range required. The batteries use high-performance lithium cells, and available capacities may vary depending on configuration and availability.
Actual range will depend on factors such as battery capacity, motor power, assistance level, rider weight, tyre pressure, elevation changes, terrain, temperature and the amount of effort contributed by the rider through pedalling.
LCD display for controlling the electrical system
The digital LCD display located on the handlebars provides access to the main riding information and allows the different levels of electrical assistance to be controlled.
This makes it easy to adapt the motor response to each situation, using lower assistance when we want to reduce energy consumption or increasing it when tackling climbs, difficult terrain or simply when we want to ride with less physical effort.
Inverted front fork and dual rear suspension
The Elcamino's Scrambler styling is not merely a matter of appearance. Its inverted front suspension fork and dual rear suspension work together to absorb uneven terrain and improve comfort when leaving perfectly paved surfaces behind.
This configuration is particularly effective in combination with its large Fat tyres, whose considerable air volume helps absorb smaller irregularities even before the suspension comes into play.
20" x 4.0" Fat tyres
The 20" x 4.0" Fat wheels are another of the Elcamino's defining features. Mounted on reinforced double-wall aluminium rims, they provide a large contact area with the ground and excellent traction.
Their large volume provides comfortable riding on asphalt, tracks, trails and uneven surfaces, while also reinforcing the distinctive appearance that sets the Elcamino apart from a conventional electric bike.
Tektro E350 hydraulic brakes
A bike with the size, wheels and versatility of the Elcamino requires a braking system to match. That is why it is equipped with Tektro E350 hydraulic brakes with Tektro discs, capable of delivering powerful, progressive and easily controlled braking.
The hydraulic system provides precise braking control while requiring less effort at the brake levers, which is particularly useful when riding over terrain involving frequent changes of speed or tackling descents.
8-speed Shimano Acera
The mechanical drivetrain uses an 8-speed Shimano Acera rear derailleur. Its different gear ratios allow the rider to adapt their own pedalling to the terrain independently of the assistance provided by the motor.
Easier gears can be selected when tackling climbs or when we want to increase our own contribution through pedalling, while higher gears can be used on more favourable surfaces to maintain an appropriate cadence in each situation.
Lighting adapted to the 36 V and 48 V versions
The Elcamino features a distinctive vintage-style LED front headlight, visually integrated into its Scrambler design and intended to provide illumination during your journeys.
The rear lighting varies depending on the electrical configuration selected. The 48 V versions feature a rear light with integrated turn signals, providing additional signalling while riding. The 36 V versions are equipped with an independent battery-powered LED rear light and therefore do not include the turn signals fitted to the 48 V configuration.
A Scrambler for much more than asphalt
The combination of Fat tyres, dual rear suspension, an inverted front fork and electric assistance makes the Elcamino a particularly versatile bike. It can be used for everyday urban journeys, but its concept really comes into its own when alternating between asphalt and tracks, trails and uneven terrain.
It is not intended to be a conventional electric bike simply dressed up as a Scrambler. Its geometry, suspension, tyres and electrical configuration are all part of a concept designed from the outset to provide a different riding experience.

Who is the Elcamino electric bike for?
The Elcamino is designed for riders looking for an electric bike with a strong personality that combines classic Scrambler styling with the versatility of Fat tyres, suspension and electric assistance.
It is particularly interesting for riders who alternate between urban roads and trails, value a relaxed riding position and want a bike that stands out both in appearance and handling. The 36 V and 48 V configurations, together with the different motor and battery options, also make it possible to adapt the Elcamino to the type of use you actually intend to give it.
