Bandit: the Café Racer legend reborn in electric form

The Bandit is no ordinary electric bike. It is a statement of intent. Inspired by the legendary Café Racer culture born on the streets of London in the 1950s, this e-bike combines distinctive retro styling with the possibilities of modern electric mobility.

Its design, large Fat tyres and distinctive riding position make the Bandit a bike for riders looking for something different and who want their bike to have as much personality as the destination ahead.

Radical design with a vintage soul

With its bold and captivating appearance, the Bandit is difficult to ignore. Its 6061 aluminium frame, combined with an ergonomic handlebar and its characteristic banana-style saddle, creates an aesthetic directly inspired by classic Café Racers.

Its geometry provides a relaxed riding position, designed for both everyday journeys and leisure rides. The wide saddle and rear footrests complete a configuration that is particularly distinctive within our range.

Suspension and Fat tyres for riding beyond the asphalt

The Bandit is designed to go far beyond city streets. It features a MOZO front suspension fork and dual air rear suspension, helping to absorb many of the irregularities encountered while riding.

It can be fitted with imposing 20" x 4.0" Fat tyres as standard, with the option of choosing narrower 20" x 3.0" tyres, depending on configuration and availability.

The large volume of these tyres provides a wide contact area and excellent traction, allowing the Bandit to alternate between asphalt, tracks, trails, sand, snow and other uneven surfaces.

250 W or 500 W Bafang motor

The Bandit is equipped with a Bafang motor, available in 250 W and 500 W versions, allowing the electrical system to be adapted to the intended type of use.

The 250 W configuration, with 45 Nm of torque, is intended to retain the characteristics of an electrically assisted bicycle, provided that the limits and requirements established by the applicable regulations are respected.

The 500 W version, with up to 80 Nm of torque, provides considerably greater assistance and is particularly suitable for use on private premises, private estates, private land or other areas where road traffic legislation applicable to public roads does not apply.

This 500 W configuration does not meet the requirements of an EPAC for use as a conventional bicycle on public roads and must therefore be used in accordance with the applicable regulations.

36 V and 48 V electrical configurations

The Bandit is available in 36 V and 48 V electrical configurations, allowing its characteristics to be adapted to the selected motor, battery and intended use.

The battery is elegantly integrated inside its distinctive curved vintage-style tank, turning one of the main components of the electrical system into an essential part of the bike's design.

We offer different battery capacities of up to 30 Ah, subject to configuration and availability. Our batteries use high-performance lithium cells, allowing you to choose a capacity suited to your usual riding distances and the intended use of the bike.

Actual range will depend on factors such as battery capacity, motor power, assistance level, rider weight, tyre pressure, elevation changes, terrain, temperature and the amount of effort contributed by the rider through pedalling.

LCD display for system control

The electrical system is managed through the digital LCD display located on the handlebars, where you can view the main riding information and select the different levels of assistance.

This makes it easy to adapt the motor response to each situation, using lower assistance when you want to reduce energy consumption or increasing it when tackling climbs, difficult terrain or simply when you want to ride with less physical effort.

8-speed Shimano Acera

The mechanical drivetrain uses an 8-speed Shimano Acera rear derailleur, providing different gear ratios to adapt your own pedalling to the terrain independently of the assistance provided by the motor.

Easier gears can be selected when tackling climbs or when you want to increase your own contribution through pedalling, while higher gears can be used on more favourable surfaces to maintain an appropriate cadence in each situation.

Tektro E350 hydraulic brakes

To keep the bike under control, the Bandit is equipped with Tektro E350 hydraulic disc brakes, capable of providing powerful, progressive and easily modulated braking.

The hydraulic system provides precise braking control while requiring less effort at the brake levers, particularly useful on a bike with Fat tyres designed to tackle a wide variety of terrain.

Details that complete its Café Racer styling

The Bandit features vintage-style mudguards, helping to protect the rider from water and dirt thrown up by its large tyres while integrating perfectly into the bike's distinctive design.

At the front, its characteristic vintage-style LED headlight is one of the elements that most strongly defines the Bandit's Café Racer personality.

The rear lighting varies depending on the electrical configuration selected. The 48 V versions feature a rear light with integrated turn signals, providing additional signalling while riding. The 36 V versions are equipped with an independent battery-powered LED rear light and therefore do not include the turn signals fitted to the 48 V configuration.

The bike also features a kickstand, making parking easier during everyday journeys.

An electric Café Racer for much more than the city

Although its styling is clearly rooted in the Café Racer world, the combination of Fat tyres, front suspension and dual rear suspension considerably expands the Bandit's range of uses.

It can accompany you on everyday urban journeys, while also allowing you to leave the asphalt behind and enjoy tracks, trails and uneven terrain. A versatility that deliberately contrasts with styling that seems to come straight from another era.

The Bandit is assembled and inspected at our facilities in León by professionals specialising in electric bikes. Before delivery, we check the electrical system, drivetrain, brakes, suspension and other components to ensure that every unit leaves our facilities correctly prepared.

You can collect it directly from our facilities or request delivery. For safe transport, the bike is specifically prepared for packaging, with the necessary adjustments made to protect it during transit and make its subsequent setup as straightforward as possible.

Experience, warranty and after-sales service

At Bikelec, we have been working with electric mobility since 2007. Our experience does not end when the bike is sold: our after-sales service is available to answer questions, diagnose possible issues and supply components and spare parts whenever necessary.

The Bandit comes with a three-year warranty on its electrical and mechanical components and a five-year warranty on the frame, together with the support of a team specialising in electric bikes.
